Event Details
Nature is beckoning! This autumn, spend some time in the great outdoors by yourself or with others in your quarantine pod, then gather with others virtually on Zoom to share your observations and experiences from each hike. Photos, sketches, and recordings are welcome additions to the shared conversation. While specific trails at varying nature areas are suggested below, feel free to choose any trail that is right for you. Please register to attend. Age 13 and up.
October 5: Charles C. Deam Wilderness: Terrill Ridge Trail (3.8 mi) OR Sycamore Loop Trail (6.4 mi)
October 19: Brown County State Park: Trail 8 (3.5 mi) OR Trails 8 + 7 (5 mi) OR Trails 8 +9 (6.5 mi)
November 2: Hoosier Nat'l Forest: Pate Hollow Short Loop (3 mi) OR Pate Hollow Trail (6.1 mi)
November 16: Laura Hare Nature Preserve (2-5 mi trails)
November 30: NEW TRAIL! Raccoon Woods trail (1.5 mi) or Green's Bluff trail (1.5 mi)
December 14: Hitz-Rodehamel Woods Loop (3 mi)
December 28: Morgan Monroe: Rock Shelter Trail (3.1 mi) OR Mason Ridge/Low Gap Trail (portion) (3.7 mi) OR Low Gap Trail (10.3 mi).
