Calling all youth artists! For Youth Art Month, we're challenging you to create and submit an original 2D work of art based on the theme of our upcoming summer reading program: Camp Myth! For this theme, draw your favorite mythical beast or hero. You can even make up your own!

The winning artwork will be made into a collectible summer reading prize bookmark. Entries should be 3x7 inches. Starting March 1, you can stop by the Downtown Library children's information desk, the Ellettsville Branch, or the Bookmobile to grab a template, if needed. When you're finished, drop your entry off at any MCPL location by March 31 to enter.
Make sure your entry has the following information written legibly on the back: name, age, title of your artwork, MCPL location that you regularly visit (Downtown, Ellettsville, or Bookmobile), and contact information (including email address and/or telephone number). Ages birth–12.
Mobility Aids Lending Library

The Mobility Aids Lending Library (MALL) is an initiative started by a local group of women with physical disabilities known as "The Wheelie Women" to serve the greater Monroe County community. The MALL program matches gently used mobility devices free of charge to those who cannot afford them or only need them for a short period of time. Items may include canes, crutches, walkers, rollators, and wheelchairs (both manual and powered).
To donate your unused or unneeded mobility aids, please fill out this form. If you might need a mobility aid, even temporarily, please indicate what you want on this form.
Those interested in dropping off or picking up items, or learning more about the program, can do so at the Downtown Library on the last Sunday of the month from 1–3 PM.

Queer Kitties RPG

As a part of Middle Way House Queer Talk programs, we'll run a magical tween-tailored role-playing game in which our kittens will support one another in getting out of Trash Town. Come with your own kitty drawings and character backstories, or choose from a collection of pre-designed feline characters. We'll be using Fate Dice™ and will teach participants how it all works. All skill levels are welcome. Ages 8–12. Please register.
