Calling all youth artists! For Youth Art Month, we're challenging you to create and submit an original 2D work of art based on the theme of our upcoming summer reading program: Camp Myth! For this theme, draw your favorite mythical beast or hero. You can even make up your own!

The winning artwork will be made into a collectible summer reading prize bookmark. Entries should be 3x7 inches. Starting March 1, you can stop by the Downtown Library children's information desk, the Ellettsville Branch, or the Bookmobile to grab a template, if needed. When you're finished, drop your entry off at any MCPL location by March 31 to enter.
Make sure your entry has the following information written legibly on the back: name, age, title of your artwork, MCPL location that you regularly visit (Downtown, Ellettsville, or Bookmobile), and contact information (including email address and/or telephone number). Ages birth–12.

Mother Bear's will donate $5 to the Friends for every large pizza you order accompanied by this flyer. You must have a separate flyer for every large pizza. This is valid for inside dining, carry out, delivery, and with any of Mother Bear's specials. Electronic coupons will not be accepted, so make sure to bring your flyer! Are you interested in converting your old home movie recordings, printed photographs, or slides into a digital format you can share online? Preserving your memories, archiving, and sharing them can be a powerful way to connect with friends and family. In this open house, we'll teach you how to create digital files using our new Memory Preservation Station. You can use a cloud storage account like Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or Dropbox to save your content. Another option is to use a USB flash drive––you can bring your own or check one out from the Library for temporary use. Age 18 and up.
