Calling all youth artists! For Youth Art Month, we're challenging you to create and submit an original 2D work of art based on the theme of our upcoming Summer Reading Program: space! For this theme, draw your favorite planet or space-themed item—you can even make up your own.

Families with newborns to 18 months play, sing, read, and talk together—then enjoy toy time.

New English speakers will practice everyday language skills in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Learners will enjoy friendly conversation, learn about daily life in the U.S., gain confidence, and meet new people from around the world. 

Join in the fun with stories, songs, puppets, and more that encourage the development of early literacy skills. Activities will be followed by a craft, so dress to mess! Ages 3–6.

Receive free testing for HIV and HCV, as well as referral for Hepatitis C and HIV treatment, and access to PrEP medication. IU Health Positive Link members are happy to answer any questions you may have. Age 18 and up.

Calling all homeschool teens! Drop by The Ground Floor for a chance to hangout with other homeschoolers, do some crafts, play some games, or get some homework done. Ages 12–19.

Come try your hand at miniature painting—we've got the minis, paints, brushes, and know-how. This week, we’ll be painting Pokémon miniatures! All skill levels are welcome. Ages 12–19.

Drop in, adventure through fantastic realms, then leave whenever you'd like. These sessions of Dungeons & Dragons are designed to be short, fun, and evolving adventures that anyone can play. All skill levels are welcome. Ages 12–19.

Need some extra help with math, reading, or writing? Come to the Downtown Library to get some extra help from IU service learning students for 40-minute sessions. Sign-ups open at 5 PM and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Ages 6–12. Please check in at the Children's desk; tutors will meet with children at the round tables near the windows in the Children's Department.

Looking for chill time? Come to the Downtown Library and enjoy snacks, crosswords, a warm cup of tea, and other low key ways to wind down and relax. Age 18 and up; recommended for ages 18–32.

New to Dungeons & Dragons? Already a seasoned adventurer? Drop in for an ongoing D&D game at the Downtown Library. We'll make characters and go on new adventures every two weeks. Ages 9–12. Please register for each session you'd like to attend, but please only register for one session per week.

It's a total (solar) eclipse of the art! Join us this month to play with watercolors and tools available to give your watercolor art a lunar theme in preparation for the total solar eclipse on April 8. Age 16 and up. Please register.
