Calling all youth artists! For Youth Art Month, we're challenging you to create and submit an original 2D work of art based on the theme of our upcoming Summer Reading Program: space! For this theme, draw your favorite planet or space-themed item—you can even make up your own.

New English speakers will practice everyday language skills in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Learners will enjoy friendly conversation, learn about daily life in the U.S., gain confidence, and meet new people from around the world.

Dine Out for the Library at DeAngelo's on Tuesdays, March 12 and 26 and on Wednesdays, March 13 and 27 from 11 AM to 9 PM. When you order, show your flyer or mention that you're dining out for the Friends of Monroe County Public Library. DeAngelo's will donate 20% of your purchase to the Friends to help make our wonderful Library programs possible. Ready to test your mettle against monsters and mayhem in a new RPG? These drop-in sessions will give players a chance to experience a different gameplay style than Dungeons & Dragons and face new challenges. All skill levels are welcome. Ages 12–19.

Need some extra help with math, reading, or writing? Come to the Downtown Library to get some extra help from IU service learning students for 40-minute sessions. Sign-ups open at 5 PM and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Ages 6–12. Please check in at the Children's desk; tutors will meet with children at the round tables near the windows in the Children's Department.

Explore, make, and exfoliate. In this program, we'll be making felted soap, a relaxing craft to help you take care of yourself this year. Age 18 and up; recommended for ages 18–32.

Join us for an eclipse-themed craft night for adults in an easy-going, social atmosphere in preparation for the total solar eclipse on April 8. No experience required. All supplies will be provided. Age 18 and up. Please register.
