Festival of Ghost Stories

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Festival of Ghost Stories
Main Library
We are advising those attending through pre-registration (Registration is full) to bring plastic to sit on, or lawn chairs, as the ground will likely be soggy tomorrow.

Registration for this event is full, but you may still view a pre-recorded version at the same time! Watch the video on the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation YouTube channel, premiering October 30 at 7 PM. Or catch the video on the Library's CATS Library Channel: Channel 3 on Comcast and Channel 301 on Smithville TV.

For AT&T U-Verse, go to Channel 99 and use the “menu” button, hitting “Govt Educ and Public Access” and selecting “Bloomington”. Choose "Monroe County Public Library CATS" to view the video.

Jack-o-lanterns and fresh cider set the stage for an evening of live storytelling beneath the stars. A Halloween-time tradition for over 30 years, the Festival of Ghost Stories features haunting tales of ghosts and horror that tingle the spine. Bring a lawn chair or blanket as seasoned storytellers spin their tales in the dark hollow of Bryan Park. Presented by members of the Bloomington Storytellers Guild. Recommended for adults, teens, and older school-age children. Attendance based on social distancing requirements will be enforced.
