D&D Library Talk is our podcast on the ins and outs of RPG systems, like Dungeons and Dragons! We talk about how to make sure everyone enjoys the game, whether as a player or game master. Episode six focuses on different sources of inspiration for a D&D game, with an emphasis on free resources available at the library or online. We also briefly share our personal favorite sources of inspiration.

All-Ages Summer Reading Program: Tails and Tales

Read for fun, complete activities, and earn tickets towards prize drawings! Our summer reading games are a fun and free way to engage all age groups in exploring new ideas, books, and activities. Register online and between June 1 and August 1, you can earn points for every 30 minutes you spend reading and for trying different activities. At different point levels, you become eligible to earn badges and prizes.

Register and learn more about the various categories and prizes for children (ages birth–12), teens (ages 12–19), and adults (age 18 and up).

There will be a community-wide reading goal of 1,000,000 minutes, resulting in a $1,000 donation from the Friends of the Library to Monroe County Humane Association!

VITAL English Language Group: Book Club

New English speakers practice everyday language skills in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Learners enjoy friendly conversation, learn about daily life in the US, gain confidence, and meet new people from around the world.  The Book Club is currently reading The Last Honest Horse Thief by Michael Koryta.

Wind Down and Charge Up Virtual Yoga

The focus of this restorative yoga class will be to wind down, relax, stretch, and recharge. This program is suitable for people age 12 and up and of most physical abilities.
