3D Print Lab for Tweens: Flat but 3D Animals

All Day
3D Print Lab for Tweens: Flat but 3D Animals
All Branches
Guided by an instructional video that we'll send to you on June 11, you'll use free 3D modeling software (Tinkercad) at home or on a Library computer to design your own 3D animal friend! We'll provide instructions for emailing your design file to us by June 25 so your design can be printed on our 3D printer––it will be yours to keep! Ages 7–12. Please register (with a valid, non-school email address) only if you have time to complete and send your design to us by June 25, as space is limited. This program will be repeated in July but we ask that you sign up for only one of the two programs due to the limited space. Kids should be able to complete the project on their own but may benefit from adult help. They will need to be able to use a mouse. The instructional video will inform you about the various tools available in Tinkercad, many of which are similar to other computer software where you can draw or create shapes. Participants will be notified when the print is ready to pick up. Please allow 3–4 weeks.
