Read for fun, complete activities, and earn tickets towards prize drawings! Our summer reading games are a fun and free way to engage all age groups in exploring new ideas, books, and activities. Register online and between June 1 and August 1, you can earn points for every 30 minutes you spend reading and for trying different activities. At different point levels, you become eligible to earn badges and prizes.

Register and learn more about the various categories and prizes for children (ages birth–12), teens (ages 12–19), and adults (age 18 and up).

There will be a community-wide reading goal of 1,000,000 minutes, resulting in a $1,000 donation from the Friends of the Library to Monroe County Humane Association!

Join us to learn about Juneteenth, an annual holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. We'll look at ways to acknowledge and appreciate African American history and culture. We'll also explore how to be allies in the present and future through books, discussion, games, and more! Ages 7–12. Please register with a valid email address. A link to this Zoom program will be emailed to you upon registration. You will also receive a link to select a date and time to pick up a Take and Make Kit associated with this program.
