Tween Reads: Clan

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Ellettsville Branch
Ellettsville Meeting Room B
Get to know other tweens through crafts and activities at this book club! Join us to chat about Clan by Sigmund Brouwer, a survival story perfect for fans of stories about friendship between humans and animals. Atlatl is often put down due to a childhood injury and his inability to hunt. He longs to earn the respect of his father, the leader of their Clan. The Clan is important to Atlatl because, in prehistoric times, your Clan ensured your survival. When a disaster strikes, will Atlatl be able to survive with his only friend, a saber-tooth cub? Masks are required. Ages 7–12. Please register. Pick up your book club copy (yours to keep!) at the Ellettsville Branch information desk after registering. Visit mcpl.info/bookclub for additional book clubs for all ages.
