Books On Tap, Virtual Edition: Another Brooklyn
Monday, January 31, 2022
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Virtual
Books on Tap is the book club with a twist! Enjoy fantastic drinks, a comfortable atmosphere, and a great discussion on a compelling book. Each registered participant will also receive a drink recipe that goes with the month’s book selection. This month's title is Another Brooklyn by Jacqueline Woodson, featuring the Brooklyn take on a Manhattan. The book heartbreakingly illuminates the formative time when childhood gives way to adulthood––the promise and peril of growing up––and exquisitely renders a powerful, indelible, and fleeting friendship that united four young lives. Age 21 and up. Please register. Visit mcpl.info/bookclub for more book clubs and titles.
This book discussion is part of the Celebrate Black Voices programming series.
