Tidy: Earth Month at the StoryWalk® @ Butler Park

10:30 AM - 11:15 AM
"Tidy": Earth Month at the StoryWalk® at Butler Park
Downtown Library
See note
Celebrate Earth Month with an eco-minded StoryWalk® storytime at Butler Park (812 W. Ninth Street, Bloomington)! We'll enjoy Tidy, written and illustrated by Emily Gravett, alongside dancing, bubbles, a scavenger hunt, and park cleanup. Pete the badger likes everything to be neat and tidy at all times, but what starts as the collecting of one fallen leaf escalates quickly and ends with the complete destruction of the forest. Will Pete realize the error of his ways and reverse his tidying habit? All ages. Please register.

The StoryWalk® is an outdoor educational activity that places the pages from a children’s story along a walking route at a local park. Fun prompts build early literacy skills, combining the pleasure of reading with the benefits of learning and movement. You can enjoy the StoryWalk® at any time!

A partnership between the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation and the Library.
