New English speakers practice everyday language skills in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Learners enjoy friendly conversation, learn about daily life in the US, gain confidence, and meet new people from around the world. 

Ready to test your mettle against monsters and mayhem in a new RPG? These drop-in sessions will give players a chance to experience a different gameplay style than D&D and face new challenges. All skill levels are welcome! Ages 12–19.

Michael Shelden, will be the guest speaker for the Friends of the Library Annual Meeting with a focus on John F. Kennedy: His Leadership and Legacy. This program is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5:15 pm. Shelden has found new information on his presidency in the Kennedy Library’s oral history archives, as well as many unpublished photos he will share. Shelden's new video series about JFK comes out on July 4 from the Great Courses. Bring a friend to enjoy an engaging conversation with Michael Shelden.
