Our free all-ages summer reading games are back in person! Read for fun, complete activities, and attend events to earn prizes! Pick up a game board beginning May 23 at the Downtown Library, Ellettsville Branch, or on the Bookmobile! This year, the Friends of the Library Foundation will donate $1,000 to the Community Kitchen of Monroe County when we meet our registration goal of 1,000 people! Friends Annual Meeting

Michael Shelden, will be the guest speaker for the Friends of the Library Annual Meeting with a focus on John F. Kennedy: His Leadership and Legacy. This program is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5:15 pm. Shelden has found new information on his presidency in the Kennedy Library’s oral history archives, as well as many unpublished photos he will share. Shelden's new video series about JFK comes out on July 4 from the Great Courses. Bring a friend to enjoy an engaging conversation with Michael Shelden. Meet the new Library Director, and learn about all of the amazing things happening at your public library! Refreshments provided by the Friends Hospitality Committee.
