Great MCPL Kid's Bake Off

9:00 AM - 11:59 PM
Virtual
Have you ever watched a baking show and thought, “I could do that!”? Now’s the time to prove yourself with the Great MCPL Kid’s Bake Off! We’re challenging you to make your best book-inspired dessert with our mystery ingredient - included in your Bake Off Kit, and available for pick-up at the downtown Children's Department. To be considered a "Star Baker," be sure to include the mystery ingredient in your dessert and be prepared to explain how a certain book or story helped you imagine the dessert you made! Share a picture of your creation to KidsBakeOff@mcpl.info by August 31st. The most creative dish (judged by Library staff!) will win a gift card to a local bakery! Please note that we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions.
All participants will receive the same ingredients. If you are unable to eat the mystery ingredient, you are welcome to substitute something similar. If you use social media, make sure to tag @MCPLIndiana and use the hashtag #MCPLBakeOff. Ages 7-12
Please register by August 15th!
