Ellettsville Book Group: The Personal Librarian

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Ellettsville Meeting Room B
For September, we’re discussing The Personal Librarian by Marie Benedict and Victoria Murray.  In 1905, Belle da Costa Greene is hired by J. P. Morgan to serve as the curator and librarian of his newly-constructed library, the Pierpont Morgan Library.  As she acquires valuable works and becomes a society darling, she worries about keeping her secret – that she’s a black woman passing as white.

Join us on the third Thursday of the month from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. to discuss a dynamic mix of fiction and nonfiction.

We will be meeting in person at the Ellettsville Branch, Meeting Room B.  Ask us about monthly titles, and how to get a copy of the upcoming month's title. Please Register
