Unity in the Community: A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a reading of Planting Stories: The Life of Librarian and Storyteller Pura Belpré by Anika Aldamuy Denise and illustrated by Paola Escobar. Carmen Medina, Associate Professor for Literacy, Culture, and Language Education for the IU Department of Curriculum and Instruction will lead this program that features a selection of Hispanic and Afro-Caribbean books that will be on display at the Library through mid-October. Ages 3–12.
