Let your creativity run wild in this gross food challenge where we invite you to make the most disgusting delicacy you can imagine! Register to receive a take-home kit with three disgusting mystery ingredients to incorporate into a dish of your own demise. Select your preferred Library branch location to receive your kit, then get ready to make a ghastly creation using all three ingredients (plus any others you want to use). Share a picture and description of your dish to MCPLTeen@monroe.lib.in.us by February 3. MCPL staff will then vote on the most creative dish and declare a winner who will receive a gift card to a restaurant of their choice! 

For this winter’s Kids Bake Off challenge, put on your sunglasses and imagine you’re on a tropical island as you create your best vacation-inspired, show-stopping dessert with our mystery ingredient! Register by January 18 and pick up your kit from the Children’s Department. Then, pick an island vacation-themed dessert to create with the mystery ingredient.

A VITAL Tutor Meet-Up is an informal gathering to discuss teaching resources, get help with lesson planning, and connect with other volunteers. All levels of experience are welcome; new and experienced volunteers are encouraged to attend.
