For Black History Month, play a game of bingo that facilitates discussions about race and offers opportunities to learn about Black visionaries, leaders, and artists. Pick up a card at any MCPL location or download it here. Complete five squares in a row to earn a prize! Just turn it in to an MCPL staff member at the Downtown Library, Ellettsville Branch, or Bookmobile. All ages.

A lively themed storytime filled with music, stories, films, and more for young children and their families. Preschool classes and other groups are welcome. Ages 3–6.

Families with babies and toddlers play, sing, read, and talk together. Ages birth–2.

New English speakers will practice everyday language skills in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. The Book Club is reading City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau for this session. The title is also available on cloudLibrary.

AARP tax volunteers will be at the Downtown Library February 6–April 14 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Assistance will be available on a first come, first served basis using a sign-up sheet that will be located near the second floor information desk.

Bring a pal or a date and join us for a festive evening full of pizza, crafts, and a movie! Put on your fanciest duds and commemorate the day in our photobooth! Food and drinks will be provided. Ages 12–19.

Join fans of classic and contemporary cartoons like Samurai Jack, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Steven Universe, and more for a night of crafts, popcorn, and discussion. Ages 12–19.

Join us to learn the basics, and we'll help you design a model to keep. Please note that 3D printing takes time; you may need to return at a later date to collect your print. Age 16 and up.

Take care of your body and build strength before having your baby. This gentle exercise supports the changing body's needs and deepens awareness to the expectant person's mind, body, and connection with their baby. Yoga mats will be available for in-program use.
