Join us in a conversation with Susan Neville, the author of essays and stories inspired by the history, culture, and people of Indiana. She has won numerous literary awards, including the Flannery O'Connor Award for Short Fiction, the Richard Sullivan Prize from the Notre Dame Review, and her newest book, The Town of Whispering Dolls, won the Catherine Doctorow Award for Short Fiction. She is the recipient of two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships and the winner of two Pushcart Prize awards.

Neville graduated from North Central High School in Indianapolis, DePauw University, Bowling Green State University, and in 2021, retired from teaching at Butler University after 38 years. She has not retired from writing, however, and recent essays and stories have appeared in the North American Review, Missouri Review, Image, DiagramSouthwest Review, and other journals. Age 18 and up.

Join us to chat about Look Both Ways by award-winning author Jason Reynolds as he conjures 10 tales (one per block) about what happens after the dismissal bell rings, and weaves them into one funny, poignant look at the detours we face on the walk home, and in life.
