New English speakers will practice everyday language skills in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Learners will enjoy friendly conversation, learn about daily life in the US, gain confidence, and meet new people from around the world. 

A kind Library patron has baked the MCPL Children's staff a cake for Love Your Library Month, but it's gone missing and now they can't enjoy its sugary goodness! Oh no! Help them find the clues and follow the crumbs to figure out what happened to the cake! Ages 9–12. Please register.

AARP tax volunteers will be at the Downtown Library February 6–April 14 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Assistance will be available on a first come, first served basis using a sign-up sheet that will be located near the second floor information desk.
