Calling all youth artists! For Youth Art Month, we're challenging you to create and submit an original 2D work of art based on the theme of our upcoming summer reading program: Camp Myth! For this theme, draw your favorite mythical beast or hero. You can even make up your own!

Join in the fun with stories, songs, puppets, and more that encourage the development of early literacy skills. Ages 3–6.

New English speakers will practice everyday language skills in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Learners will enjoy friendly conversation, learn about daily life in the U.S., gain confidence, and meet new people from around the world. 

Discover more at the Library! Following each Preschool Storytime, join us for a fun craft experience. We may also enjoy a math or science activity, or an activity designed to explore the alphabet! Each week, we'll experiment with different materials and techniques. Dress to mess. Ages 3–6.

Are you looking for a way to practice speaking Spanish? Join us for a casual hour of open conversation in Spanish! This is not a class or formal lesson—just a space for those wishing to practice their Spanish speaking skills. To help you prepare for each session, each meeting will have a theme to focus on. This month's conversation topic will be weather. All language skill levels, including native Spanish speakers, are welcome. Age 15 and up. Please register in order to receive a Zoom link.

Come try your hand at miniature painting—we've got the minis, paints, brushes, and know-how. All skill levels are welcome. Ages 12–19.

Take care of your body and build strength after having your baby. This gentle exercise supports the changing body's needs and deepens awareness to the caregiver's mind, body, and connection with their baby. Yoga mats are available for in-program use. Parents with children ages birth–18 months.
