The Great MCPL Kids Bake Off: Flower Power Edition

12:01 AM - 11:59 PM
All Branches
For this round of The Great MCPL Kids Bake Off challenge, it’s time to stop and smell the flowers! Create your best spring-inspired, show-stopping dessert with our mystery ingredient. First, register starting May 1 and pick up your kit from the Children’s Department of your selected location. Then, pick a spring-inspired dessert to create, but make sure to include the mystery ingredient or you won’t be our Star Baker!

Share a picture of your creation to KidsBakeOff@mcpl.info by May 22. The most creative dish will win a gift card to a local bakery! Need some baking equipment? Try out our new Library of Things Baking Kit collection. Please note that we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions, as all participants will receive the same ingredients. If you are unable to eat the mystery ingredient, you are welcome to substitute something similar. Ages 7–12.
