Native Seed Propagation

10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Downtown Library
Program Room 2B & 2C Combo
Our native plants and animals are losing their place in this world, and one of the best ways to help them is to grow your own native plants from seed. In this class, we'll learn the steps of native seed propagation, with a focus on collecting and preparing your own seeds. Native seeds will be provided for an opportunity for hands-on experience. If you’ve collected some of your own, you're invited to bring them with you. Our instructor will be Bill Daniels, Native Seed Communities Coordinator and Purdue Extension Advanced Master Gardener. Attendees will leave with their own packet of native seeds. Age 18 and up. Please register.

This program is in partnership with the Indiana Native Plant Society.
