New English speakers will practice everyday language skills in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Learners will enjoy friendly conversation, learn about daily life in the U.S., gain confidence, and meet new people from around the world. 

Play, learn, and get to know other parents. We'll have sensory toys and other manipulatives to facilitate a fun time for all. There will also be an opportunity to talk about baby health, safety, postpartum care, and literacy with Tandem Birthing Center's Blythe Angle. Ages birth–2.

Calling all kids who love to dance! Join us for a special storytime with books, songs, and rhymes all about dancing. At the end of storytime, all dancers will have a chance to show off their moves through a variety of music. Ages birth–6.

Join us for our quarterly Movies vs. Books Club! Read The Martian by Andy Weir, then join us to watch the movie adaptation. Afterwards, we'll have just one question: which was better—the book or the movie? Popcorn and candy will be provided during the movie. Age 18 and up. Please register.

Musicians of all levels are encouraged to bring their instruments and work with composers Maggie Olivo and Nur Slim for collective creative music making as an impromptu orchestra. Ages 8–18.
